"Kookanoodles" (Kookanoodles)

Well, here it is. Peugeot have officially unveiled their Exalt four-door coupé concept, and I dare all of you buzzkills to say it looks like a Honda Accord.
As expected, the car is bare steel up front, will-never-reach-production textile at the back. It also sports the 270bhp turbocharged four-cylinder from the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! mated to the 70bhp electric motor of PSA's Hybrid4 system, so that's good for 340bhp and 4WD. It also looks fantastic, and like the Onyx features innovate uses of natural materials for the interior (as Top Gear Magazine !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , "no carbon here, thanks").
Duurtlang, 505 Turbeaux, watch the video below and tell me you don't feel something.
If it doesn't !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! next year slightly toned down and rebadged 408 GT, I'll eat my hat. I don't even have a hat.

Eh, Peugeot will surrender the idea before it reaches production.

If they did being it to the US I'd buy it. I wouldn't care what it looked like or how it drove. It would just sound cool to say "my car is French, heah heah heah" in a French accent

Front end is Accord-ish. it also looks like it took a Mustang rear-end and changed some things here and there.

Are you going to pull over and stop every time a BMW, Audi, Mercedes or Porsche is behind you?

The whole painted-arse thing Peugeot's started doing (308R Concept) looks bad, but paint and weird rear windscreen aside, that's a handsome thing.

They've gone one step further here, it's actually a different material. I kind of like it, at least it looks well thought out and not half-arsed like on the 308 R.

Pretty much a dead ringer of an Accord, headlights! Griil! Logo, all on the front like that...
Kidding aside, too bad we will never get it, that does look great.

I... I feel something. I've been relatively negative about what PSA released in the first decade of the century, but they seem to be making quite a strong comeback to relevance.
I just returned home from picking up my E30 325i Touring. While I like that BMW I'm not afraid to admit I prefer my 406 Coupe.

Is there any reason why? Is it heavier stuff at the back for weight distribution?

I think it's just bullshit pseudo-aerodynamic concept car stuff, and it makes the connection to the Onyx more obvious.

You're assuming the French car would work in the first place

Am I the only one who sees a little bit of 2015 mustang in the rear of that Poo-Goat?

Why not just put the textile over the whole body? If it truly helps aero that why only the back? ANSWER ME PEUGOT!
Seriously though i like the bare steel look but if the cloth can get me 35-40 mpg give it to me now like now...

I don't think it actually improves anything, they probably just think it looks cool.

well my knowledge comes from the article yesterday on it. the red cloth is supposedly a special textile that improves aero and mpg. I haven't researched it any further than that so you might be right.
